Jammin' with Joe!

The apricot tree in our backyard produced a ton of fruit this year, which we froze so that when we had time we could do something with all of it. Well, I wasn't getting to it fast enough so my enterprising husband decided that he would make his own beloved apricot jam! He decided to do it outside on our camping cook-stove so that it wouldn't heat up the house! What a guy! :) Here are some pictures of him hard at work!

  1. Wow... what a guy. If I lived closer I would be breaking into your house and stealing your jam and Apricots... they are my favorite fruit. Ummm.... enjoy! Love the cute farmer photos too. xo

  2. I'm here to attest...the apricot jam is excellent. Thanks for leaving a jar, Joe:) I just made some apple butter in the slow cooker and it's good, too. It reminds me of my mom:) Plus, it's kind of a fall thing. It might even be good on a turkey sandwich, rather than cranberry sauce.

    Love, mommazee/grammyzee
