Sweet Little Lincoln!

One of the best parts of our visit was getting to see my newest nephew! Little Lincoln is so sweet! I forget how small a new baby is until one is in my arms! :)

Kyra and Lincoln

So Precious!!!

Chloe checking out her newest little cousin!

More "fancy" shoes!

Later that night Chloe found Grammy's shoes and went clip clopping around the house in them!

Hunting for Easter Eggs!

Grammy "hid" some Easter eggs for Chloe and we had fun watching her find them! Once she knew what was inside she became quite the hunter!!! :)

Wow! Three in a row!

Now how do I get into this thing?

Got it!

Enjoying the treat and looking for more!

How many can I fit in my mouth at once?

Mmmmmm!

That was fun!

Snow Fun

We went to my parents house for a long weekend and thought that while they still had snow in the area we would take Chloe up for a little romp in the snow. It didn't go quite as I had expected!

Chloe and Joe looking at the snow!

Now Me and Chloe... All is well!

We put her down do see how she likes it... Notice the mittens are not on her hands (bad Mom!)

Testing it out!

Oops, down she goes and cold hands are NOT fun!!!

Not a happy camper...

I try to put her mittens on her, but she doesn't want them on

Just sittin' there...

Grammy tries to help convince her to put her mittens on, but nothing works...

Daddy to the rescue!!! Here, taste the snow!

Somehow it's okay for the snow to be cold in your hands when it's going from there to your mouth!!! All she wanted to do was eat the snow! So that was our first, quite short, little trip to see the snow! She does know what snow is now though when she sees it. On our way home she would see it along the road and say "snow, snow!"

Merry Little Maid!

The other day I was doing a little dusting with the feather duster and Chloe thought it was really funny looking, so I gave her the duster and let her have some fun! Let's hope she continues to think things like this are "fun!"

Notice the "fancy" shoes! One must
always look like a lady, even when
cleaning the house! :)

Picture time...

And boy was this time a doozie! I think we have hit the stranger anxiety stage, and Chloe was NOT happy to see the photographer. As soon as I set Chloe down she started bawling and clinging to me either trying to climb up me or climb back into her stroller! Well I finally got her calmed down and interested in the little chicks in the basket but that lasted about two seconds (long enough for the first picture to be snapped) and she was back to crying and clinging again!

The poor photographer was only able to take about 6 pictures and these were the only two that were marginally good! They said I could reschedule but I figured these were good enough and we might end up with a repeat performance!

Bows!!!

After months, no wait, years of wanting to put bows in Chloe's hair she finally has enough hair for me to put little pig tails in her hair! On Wednesday night we decided to try out the new look. She is an absolute terror while I'm trying to comb her hair, but I'm even more determined than she is! She actually kept them in for most of meeting, and of course everyone loved her new hair-do!

Happy Birthday to me...

I turned 30!!!

I've been 30 for almost two weeks now and I have to say that I don't feel any different! I somehow thought that when people turned 30 they instantaneously became mature and wise but so far that hasn't seemed to happen to me! Anyway, I had a nice birthday and since my party wasn't going to be until the 6th I made a cake for myself!

Here it is! Red Velvet... Isn't it pretty?

Then on Thursday was the actual party! It was over at Don and Eve's and just a few friends and family members were there! It was really nice and they got my favorite Mexican food for dinner! :) The cake was really good too!

Fun with "Ginny"

We had Auntie Virginia for a couple of days a few weeks ago, and she and Chloe had a lot of fun together! Chloe couldn't quite say Virginia, but by the end of her stay she was saying "Ginny!" Chloe also thought that Virginia's walker was one of the best toys around. She loved to sit on it while Virginia walked around with her! She also pushed Virginia around when she was sitting on it... Much to Virginia's amazement!
