Procrastination...

The post about my blogging hiatus is mainly a reminder to myself that I have a test to study for and that I should not spend so much time on the computer! But on to other fun stuff... I haven't posted three beautiful things in quite a while, although I read Clare's blog quite often, and I just noticed that I am on the 3BT Roll of Honour! Very cool! So I figure I'd better put up another three to make it current!

1.) Quality time with my sis-in-law! Chloe had her six month pictures taken and Cari came along for the long drawn out process and didn't mind a bit! Plus we got a little shopping in too!
2.) Finally finishing Howards End. I don't know why it took me so long to finish because I enjoyed the book, but for some reason the last 20 pages took me FOREVER! Yea, now on to the next book!
3.) Perfect strangers telling me how cute Chloe is! I mean, I think she's adorable, but it's really fun when someone unbiased confirms my belief!

A brief blogging hiatus...

I need to cut down on the amount of time I spend blogging and reading other blogs so that I can read and prepare for this test. The list of books is a bit staggering, and every day or so I freak out, but hopefully by the end of April I will be done!

We're so lucky to have such a happy baby!

I hesitate to say this because I'm afraid I'll jinx us!!! For right now, we'll take it though!!! Look at those chubby arms!

Rolls everywhere!

She's always trying to get her shoes off, but these ones actually stay on... For a little while anyway!

Strangly Satisfying Sudoku

I had heard a little bit about Sudoku but had never done one of the puzzles myself until the other day. I happened to be browsing around Borders (as much a one can browse with a 6 month old in her car seat carrier) when I saw a book of sudoku for $3.99. I thought, what the heck, I might as well give it a try! Keep in mind that I'm not a "math person" and generally try to stay far away from anything having much to do with numbers! But the good news is- it's not a math thing at all and really doesn't have all that much to do with numbers, as long as you can count to 9 you're doing okay- and I can handle that!!! Well, much to my surprise I am strangely addicted to Sudoku! There is something about figuring out these puzzles that is very satisfying! So, if you've been wondering whether to give it a try, I'd say, go for it!

My sweet baby is six months old!!!

Time is such a funny thing! On the one hand I can't believe that my sweet little baby is six months old. It doesn't seem possible that half a year has already passed, but on the other hand I have a hard time thinking back to before Chloe was here!! She is such a sweet, happy baby! In fact she has recently found her voice. She was testing it out during meeting tonight, so much so that Joe and I had to take turns hanging out in the hallway with her! It was actually quite funny, although I'm sure a bit distracting, because I have to say- she's just so cute! She was making this really loud squealing noise followed by a raspberry, laughing throughout! We're so lucky to have her!!! :) All smiles!!

Sage and Chloe

Happy Half Birthday!!!

Licked the platter clean!

Chloe actually had her first food on the 8th! She must have been ready because she gulped it down as fast as I could spoon it into her little mouth! She wasn't even that messy! She was like a little bird waiting with her mouth open, and even squawked a bit if I wasn't fast enough! She's only had rice cereal but her Papa can't wait to feed her ice cream or tapioca pudding! Those are some of his latest suggestions! Chloe ready to eat!!!

Chowing down!!!

All Done!!!

Catching up...
