No Longer is Chloe in a Crib!

I know that babies don't come home from the hospital and need their crib right then and there, (at least our babies don't) but I want to paint Chloe's crib and set up baby boy's room, so we decided to get a little toddler bed for Chloe. I was kind of worried about how this transition would go since Chloe is such a good sleeper. I didn't really want to disturb this especially with a new baby coming soon and sleepless nights looming on the horizon, but we decided to do it anyway. I'm happy to say that Chloe slept all night in her new bed without a problem and is napping in it as I type! She loves that she can get in and out of the bed on her own and likes to do a bit of bouncing and jumping on it too!

She had so much fun!

Happy with her new bed!

All moved in!

Is that a watermelon?

Nope, just my growing belly... Kinda looks like I swallowed a watermelon though!

2nd Annual Yard Sale!

This weekend we had our 2nd annual yard sale! We had a bit of junk to get rid of, Jim and Alyssa had a few things, but Juan and Cari really brought on the stuff since they have just moved!

Juan and Cari helping to move the stuff!

Chloe and Scarlett were pretty good about staying out of the stuff and just playing in the grass!

A New Friend!

My good friend Stefanie just had her sweet little boy Aiden. Chloe and I went over to meet him and see Stefanie too!

What a cutie!

Cousins!

We were over at Jim and Alyssa's a few days ago and I got some really cute pictures of Luke and Mia! Chloe really likes her little cousins, so we have to keep her at a distance! She is getting good at saying their names too!

Luke looking cute!

Mia gave me a smile!

Relaxing in their bouncy chairs!

Scarlett came over the other day
while Cari was at the Dentist and
the girls decided to play a duet!

Messy eater!

I thought I'd see if Chloe liked Spaghetti-O's... Which she didn't, but she did like to smear them around on her face!!!

Every morning Joe makes a smoothie for breakfast and Chloe anxiously waits for her sip!

Ummm!

A Pretty Little Dove

Joe had to cut down a branch on our apricot tree a few weeks ago, but it wasn't until he was done cutting down the branch that he noticed this dove just a few branches away! Luckily it wasn't her branch that needed to go! She stayed in the tree the entire time he was cutting and as you can see didn't move when I came to take a few pictures!

A little fit!

I was trying to take a picture of Chloe the other day and she was not happy about it!

She only wants her picture taken when she thinks it's okay!

Zig-zagging North and Back Home Again!

We made a long trip from Home to Bend, Bend to Seattle, Seattle to Bend, and then Bend to Home last week. Which explains the zig-zagging since Bend isn't exactly a straight shot to Seattle, but it is a good place to stop since we got to see Sean, Kyra and Lincoln again, and my parents too, of course!

We stayed at Sean and Kyra's on Thursday night and left Friday afternoon.

Here is a really cute picture of Lincoln smiling!

Chloe giving Lincoln loves... Not sure if he likes it though!

Uncle Joe holding Lincoln

Friday night we stopped at Greg and Paula's for dinner and a little break before we went to our hotel. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures... Paula took more, but I thought this one of the girls was pretty cute! Chloe and Alyssa got along great and played together all evening! We had a great time chatting and catching up!

In our hotel... Joe had unhooked the phone cord and Chloe was trying to figure out where and how to get it to work! She eventually did!

The reason we made the trip to Seattle!

My friend Kim and her new husband Torrey are married! It was fun to see her if only for a few minutes!

Me and Kim!

We also saw my aunt Alice, uncle Dave and cousin Jay on Saturday before the wedding, but I lamely forgot my camera in the hotel... After that we thought we'd go check out Seattle, but by the time we actually made it into Seattle it was time to turn around and head home so we could get ready for the wedding. We had heard that traffic in Seattle was bad, but added to that was the fact that the Dali Lama was in town and the Mariners had a game... We'll have to save our sight seeing trip of Seattle for another time!

Back in Bend Mom and I took Chloe to feed the geese. At first Chloe thought it was fun but then when the goose walked right up to her and snatched her bread she got scared. The goose kind of hissed at her too which didn't help! She started crying and saying "Bye-Bye!!!"

Here she is waving and saying "bye-bye" to the geese!

Trying to be brave, but not about to stick around!

Of course Grandpa Zee had to get Chloe a cap gun!

Stick em' up!

Checking it out

We stopped by Sean and Kyra's one last time!

Sweet sleeping Lincoln!

Birthday Party Fun!

Chloe's little neighbor friend Andrew turned 3 a couple weeks ago. He had a great birthday party with all kinds of outdoor fun and a bounce house too!

Here is the birthday boy checking out his pirate cake!

Blowing out candles is serious business!

Blowing hard!

Still Blowing!

Chloe loved the sandbox!

Having fun in the bounce house!

Whoa!!

This is fun!

7:00 that night! Asleep in Daddy's arms!
