Babies on Both Sides!!!

This is a LONG overdue post, and I'm sure most people know, but both Sean & Kyra and Jim & Alyssa are expecting! We are so happy and excited for all of them and can't wait for February!

We got this in the mail a few weeks ago!

I don't have an ultrasound photo from Jim & Alyssa, but if I did there would be two little babies in there!!! That's right, twins!!! :)

Quick stop!

Since Amy, her boys, and her parents had to fly out so early, we got to be the last stop before going home! They got to our house Friday evening, so we had a short night of fun! They had to leave so early in the morning, we didn't even hear them go!
Now I understand the difficulty Amy has at times, getting pictures of Rory! We played a fun little game of "try and get a picture of me!"

Not looking!

Just a little peek!

Making a run for it!

Dashing for cover!!!

Aww! Opa saves the day!!

Labor Day at Lake Camanche

We went to Camanche for a relaxing Labor Day. We had a great time out on the boat and hanging out in the cabin.
Sitting in the toy box is almost as much fun as playing with the toys!

Jim and Alyssa relax on the porch!

Scarlett sucking on some cantaloupe!

She even cleans up her own mess!

Chowing down on corn on the cob!

I thought I'd take a quick poll for Juan... He seems to think that you look much "cooler" in pictures if you aren't actually looking at the camera, so here are two of the same picture (basically). You decide which one you like better!!! :)

We'll call this one picture A

We'll call this one picture B

Hanging out in the water!!!

Toddler Central!

Amy and her boys (of Will ya or Won't ya fame) were nearby visiting friends and family, so Chloe and I took a little day trip to see them! We met everyone at the park, and then went to Burger Hut for lunch. Which was an interesting experience with seven toddlers, but we managed and it was worth it! All of my pictures come from the time we spent at Amy's parents house, so some people and kids are missing. :(

Sweet little Jace!

Our attempt at a group photo.... NOT happening!

This works better!!!

More target practice...

Over at Nana and Grandpa's again while Joe shoots his bow.

Whatcha doing, Daddy?

Joe shooting!

Chloe checking out the target! We're not quite ready for a William Tell experiment!!!

Fair Fun!

I started this blog with this picture of Chloe at the fair, so that means I've been blogging for at least a year now! Every once in a while it's fun to look back and really see how much Chloe has grown! This picture does that!!! :)

The more things change, the more they stay the same!!! (Note the pacifier!)

Chloe really liked watching the little chicks!

Me and Chloe in front of the truly "green" truck!

Any animal that has four legs is a dog in Chloe's mind, so she was pointing out all kinds of dogs for us!

Always in Motion!

A while ago we went over to Grandpa and Nana's so that Joe could practice shooting his bow. While he does that I get to chase Chloe around since her favorite thing to do is run! It was such a beautiful evening, so I took pictures of Chloe, of course! :)
Happy to be outside!

Trying to capture the hugeness that is her adorable cheeks!

DOGGG! One of her favorite words!

Stopping for a moment to check out the flowers!

What???

Chloe's more of a trotting through the tulips kinda girl!

Can't catch me!!!

Takin' a rest!

Look at those feet!!!

Lunch with Nichole and her new baby Katie!

My friend Nichole had a beautiful baby girl in May and I hadn't meet her yet, so Nichole and I met for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. We had so much fun "introducing" our girls and comparing Mommy notes! Katie is so adorable and very sweet too! We had a great lunch together and then ran into each other at Gymboree in the mall!! :)

The adoring new Mommy and Katie!

Katie looking like the sweet little imp she is!

Me and Chloe

What big eyes you have!

Make new friends, but keep the old...

That's how the saying goes, right! Well, we got to do a little of both! My best friend Jennifer from high school and I had lost track of each other over the years, and she "found" me on Myspace (see it IS good for something!). We happen to be living quite close to each other, so we got together for her daughter's first birthday! That's where the new friends part comes in! The last time I had seen her, Jennifer only had Devan, her oldest daughter, but now she has two! So, Chloe and I went to help celebrate Danica's first birthday! It was really fun to see Jennifer and her family again after such a long time!

Danica's not quite sure what's going on yet!

She caught on pretty quickly, though!

Opening presents with help from her cousin and big sister!

Devan looking cute!
