Playing with Daddy!

Two Sundays ago between meetings Joe and Chloe had fun playing around and getting rid of some energy!

Joe would pretend to jump over Chloe

She thought this was hilarious!!!

Trying to do it too!

Both of them cracking up!

20 Weeks!

Here I am in all my glory! This was taken a few weeks ago, and I think I've grown since then!

One Woman Band!

Well, I think it's safe to say that there is no child prodigy in this household! We are subjected to lots of noise and exuberant banging on the piano which more than makes up for the lack of talent! :)

Saturday Morning!

Shirt: Check, Diaper: Check, Pink Cowboy Boots: Check!

What more could she need?

Nana and Grandpa got Chloe a table and chairs for Christmas, so now when I'm cooking she can cook and set her little table too!

Help! Help!

Chloe has taken an interest in babies and loves to stroll them around, rock them, feed them their bottles, or give them a binky! It's so cute to see her playing with her dolls and seems to be good timing since there will be a real baby in the house soon! However, she is not the most gentle of mothers, so we will have to keep a close eye on her!

Rocking her baby

Sign language can be great, but it has it's drawbacks!!! We taught Chloe the sign for help, so that (hopefully) instead of screaming or yelling when she can't do something she can just sign that she needs help! Well, this is great, but when she wants to do something over and over and over (and over) again I kind of wish she didn't know it, since It seems only reasonable to grant her request since she is asking so nicely!!! :) Lately her fascination is with the buckle/snap thing that belts her babies into the stroller... Or any other belt (like in the shopping cart or high chair) that has a clasp on it! She loves to close it and since she can't open it again that is where the "help" is needed!!!

Deep in concentration!!!

Got it!!

What a funny little girl!!!

Help in the Kitchen!

I have some serious updating to do since the last time I posted was almost three weeks ago! Here are some cute pictures of Chloe and Scarlett playing in (I never know if it's "in" or "with") her kitchen.

Showing Scarlett her fake food!

You've gotta get low to really see what's in the fridge!

Too many cooks!

Chloe's making sure everything is under control!

A Mighty Mess!!!

I was cleaning up our lunch dishes yesterday, and Chloe was back in her bedroom playing. She goes back there quite a bit to clank around in her kitchen or look at her books. She had been back there for a little while when I realized it was pretty quiet, so I went back there to check on her and this is what I found!

She had almost completely emptied her bottom dresser drawer, not to mention all the kitchen stuff she had strung out all over the room, plus there was about half her books from her bookshelf on the floor too! She had been busy!

I don't know if you can tell but she is trying to put her bathing suit top on! :)

Lets hope this isn't something she wants to do on a regular basis! :)

More Kitchen Fun

Is it the Abominable Snowman?

Or a sweet little snow bunny?

Here are some more pictures of Chloe playing with her Kitchen or Kitchy as she calls it! It is so cute to see her pretending to do the things she sees me doing in the kitchen! Everything she makes it "hot, hot" (since I'm always warning her) and she especially likes to fill your cup and pretend to drink it and then give some to you to drink too! SO fun and SO cute!

Humm, what should I make?

So many options!

Sampling the food!!

What should I make?

Stirring away!

More mixing and stirring!

There's my spatula!

Ring, Ring!

Multi-tasking already!! :)

New Year's Eve

We had a pretty low-key, (surprise, surprise) but fun New Years Eve this year. We went over to Jim and Alyssa's along with Juan, Cari, and Scarlett, and Mya, Kiron, and Grady. M,K, & G were in town so they were a fun addition to our usual family gathering! We had dinner, talked and chased kids around until about 9:00 p.m. when we decided we had better head home!

Mya, Kiron, and Grady

Sweet boy Grady! I don't think he knew what to make of Chloe and Scarlett!!!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but it can also be very deceptive as in this case!!! Here you would think that Chloe had a great time all evening as depicted by this picture, but that could not be further from the truth!!! I'm not sure what the problem was, but it was an evening of tears, tears, and more tears with a side of whining thrown in for good measure! She looks pretty cute in this picture though! She must really love her uncle Jimmy!

Chloe's got her party hat on!

Scarlett trying to get at that sweet little boy!

Just playing!

These are pictures of Chloe playing around two Sunday's ago. I also wanted to take some pictures of her in this dress since one of our friends made it! She's obviously figured out how to knit more than a scarf, which is about my limit!!! :)

Playing her piano!!!

Going into her castle... She's almost too tall for the door now! When I made it she had inches to spare! :)

Playing with her doggy!

The Bathrobe Bandit!

I put this obviously too small bathrobe on Chloe the other night after her bath and she thought it was great fun to run around in!

Can't catch me!!!

Uh-oh, maybe you can!

Humm, I wonder what's in here?

And where are my shoes?

Much better!

Stopping for a little break!
