Get out of jail free!

I have gated the room that looks into the family room and the kitchen, and made it into a kind of play room for Chloe. I have been lovingly calling it "jail." Our little jail worked really well before Chloe started walking all over and wanting to "explore" and "discover" the wonders that are our house! Now she only wants to be in there if someone else is in there with her!

The latest in jailhouse fashion! She's gonna give Paris a run for her money!

A couple of special girls I know!!!

Last Friday we got to "watch" Courtney and Tori for the evening! We had a great time, and the added bonus was that Chloe was completely entertained by them! I can't believe that these young ladies are the same little girls I used to watch! :)
You'll notice that Chloe doesn't exactly like to sit for her picture these days! :)

Playing in the yard!

These pictures were actually taken about a week and a half ago. Chloe was really interested in her shadow and kept trying to get it with her hands. She also found the grass hard to walk in and kept falling over because of it! :)

"Before" and "After"

This is a picture I posted just a few short weeks ago of our "garden!" At the time it didn't really look like much, but I'm pleased to say that we've had the first fruits (or veggies) of our labour for dinner last night!

It hardly looks like anything in there

Don't be fooled! It's a couple of zucchini plants, which take up a lot of room! :) But they're oh so delicious!

This looks like I took a picture of dirt! But its a lovely row of corn! :) Can't wait for some of that this summer!

We have some peppers, tomatoes, and beans too!
I just love hydrangeas, so I had to put this picture up! It makes me happy every time I see it in our yard! It's a plant that Joe's grandma gave to us several years ago!

Convention!

It's already been a week since convention, but here are some pictures from up at the Ranch! Isn't Scarlett the cutest thing you've ever seen!!! (I couldn't resist posting this picture Cari! You'll have to forgive me!)

Auntie Brynna was there too!!! We were so glad for her help, especially since Joe was sick for a few days!
Here is a picture of Chloe's little black eye. She fell onto a leg of a little foot stool I have and just missed her eye! It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but it was already a few days old here!

A Few Random Pictures!

Well, I started this a day ago, but I didn't realize that Blogger was going to be "unavailable" until halfway through this thing... So here are a few pictures I've taken of Chloe lately! I'm realizing that my perfect little subject is no longer stationary and so taking her picture requires a little more work these days! :)

Look Who's Walking!!!

Well, it's official, Chloe's walking! She took her first few wobbly steps while we were in Palm Springs, which as you know was a few weeks ago, but I wasn't technically counting them... I think it was a minor case of denial! My baby can't possibly be walking yet, can she?! :) What always amazes me, is how incredibly fast babies learn something. In Palm Springs it was just a few tentative steps and even in this video Chloe is pretty wobbly. And while she still falls all the time, she is getting increasingly better every day!!! Watch out world, Chloe's on the move!!! :)
