Struttin' Her Stuff!

Everyone came over last night and Chloe found Auntie Alyssa's shoes!

She was pretty proud of herself!

Really moving now!

She really liked the click-clack on the tile!

Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!

Not thrilled to be photographed!

The one time I catch a smile and it's fuzzy!

Lil' miss Clause! :)

It's a boy!

I had an ultrasound on Thursday, and everything looked good! The technician said we are having a little boy! We're really excited especially since there will be boy cousins so close in age on both sides!

Here he is!

Strassburg Family Pictures

Getting a whole family photo is no small feat!

Even a small family photo is hard work when
the little one doesn't want to sit or even
be in the room!

Cousins!!!

A few of her favorite things!

Pulling the cushion off of the chair and hopping around in the chair or on the cushion

Talking on her phone

Jumping from the chair to Sage's dog bed!

Playing on her car!

Filling the trunk of her car!

Wearing her cowgirl hat hill-billy style!

Chasing me with her car!

Smirking and making a number
of other funny faces!

Hanging out

Earlier this week we all went over to Jim and Alyssa's to hang out.

The cutest little crawler around! Scarlett is SO fast. She was crawling around under the coffee table when I took this picture! Isn't she the cutest! :)

Chloe was doing her own version of crawling here- on her back!

Chloe loves her Uncle Jimmy, especially when he has treats!

Yogurt is good too! :)

Our Busy Little Girl

Whenever it's quiet around here for longer than 3 seconds I start to worry! The other night that strange quietness fell over our house, and so I went to check on Chloe. This is what I found her doing! The camera was literally one foot away, so I snapped a picture and promptly got her off of her very unstable stepping stool!

To which she immediately started throwing a fit! So we found something a little more stable for her to climb on. She has this fascination with switches and buttons of any kind. Doorbells, garage door openers, light switches, alarms, etc. If it looks like she can push it or flip it she wants to give it a try!

Consequently Chloe can be found at her post, flipping the hall lights on and off.

I've since decided that it's still to high and I can't stand around all day as she flips light switches so we've hidden the chair. I'm sure she'll figure something else out that is more dangerous, at that point maybe we'll bring back the chair! :)

These boots are made for walking... Well, sort of!

Last Sunday after meeting Chloe decided to try on Daddy's boots! They are so big she didn't even have to take her shoes off!

Once she got them on the trouble began!

She's not quite sure how they work or if she can move them!

Trying to take a step, but they're SO big and heavy!

Plop! Down she goes!

Waaaa! This wasn't supposed to happen!

Mother knows best!

I was just thinking about how often I call my Mom throughout the week. I call her for little random things, usually questions about how she makes something or does something, but a lot of times it's just to chat and say hi. Well, it's been about three days since I've talked to her and I think that knowing I can't call her makes me want to call her more! My Mom, Dad, Nicole, and Brynna are all in South Africa visiting my Uncle Steve, and they will be there for a month! He has been living over there for close to a year (I think) and so they decided to go visit him! They never did this kind of thing when I was footloose and fancy free!!! But that's another story! Anyway, I talked my Mom into setting up a blog for while she was there, so I could at least see what they were all doing on this wonderful trip of theirs! So, if you want to check it out just go to Martine on Safari. In the meantime I just hope I don't have any cooking emergency while she's gone! :)
