Parma Pals!

After a ten hour drive we made it to Parma, but not in time for the Saturday night meeting. After dropping off the boat we stopped at the A & W for dinner and ran into Ryan and Malia (and his parents), which was a fun surprise! We stayed at my cousin Jill and Justin's house and got to see Nelson, Johnny, and Jessica before the night was over! Then we got all of Sunday at Parma!

Gage is only one day older than Chloe! He's so sweet and smiley, but both of the kids were not very cooperative for this picture!

Last night after dinner it was still really hot, so we decided to cool off in the pool!Chloe wasn't too sure about it all at first, but she was splashing around in no time!

11 months down, one to go!

I am constantly saying that I can't believe how fast Chloe is growing, but it's true! It seems like I just had her and here she is one month away from a year old! She's so much fun!

1st Annual Yard Sale!

Last week while Alyssa and I were on our walk we passed a garage sale. We promptly decided that we should have one, and then we realized that this weekend was about the only weekend that all of us (Juan and Cari too) would be around. So with only a few days to gather our junk we went forward with the yard sale! It's amazing how much junk we were able to pull out of hiding! Don and Eve donated some (that's actually putting in quite mildly) stuff to our cause too! We were up bright and early and and sold most of our stuff by 10:00! We packed it all in at about 2:30 and the boys hauled the rest of the stuff to the Goodwill. It's really true what they say- "out of sight out of mind" I don't miss any of that junk and we made some cash too! :)

I can't help but get excited when I see Chloe looking at her books! She really does seem to enjoy them. She will look at them on her own, but she especially likes to have someone read to her! The other day Joe was playing with her and she brought him a book and crawled into his lap! It just about melt my heart! :)

From the garden to the table!

I have been having so much fun with the garden! It's truly a miracle to watch everything grow and produce something we can eat! The zucchini are doing awesome and this last week I've made about 9 loaves of zucchini bread. I gave some away, but I definitely need to stop because I could (and have, embarrassingly enough) eaten a whole loaf myself! Yummy

Tired little girl!

I usually put Chloe in her Exersaucer while I take a shower, and she usually plays quite happily, but the other day this is how I found her!!! It was so funny because her head was on one of the buttons so it kept saying things like, "the cat is orange" or, "the apple is red" over and over! Later in the day she was up and at em'! Just look at those fingerprint all over the window!!!
