Thanksgiving!

As we usually do, we went to Bend to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We left on Tuesday morning and I had to wake Chloe up for the trip. This is how I found her, and is often her favored sleep position!!! She's so cute with her bum in the air!

This year we shared Thanksgiving with some of the Mosman crew! Rod & Debbie, Derek, Crystal, and their two boys, and Stan and Marya and their three. Sean and Kyra too, of course if you want to count them as Mosmans! :) Getting all the food set up!

Since Chloe was appropriately attired, I figured I'd take pictures of her doing her book worm thing! You'll notice books strewn all around her, which is generally how her room looks! I'm not sure if she gets more enjoyment our of reading the books or pulling them off of the shelves!

Last Thursday Chloe and I went over to Edie's for a delicious lunch and an afternoon of fun!

We knew the workers were going to be there, but seeing Stacy and Shawna was an extra surprise!

Trick or Treat!

Halloween was a lot of fun for Chloe this year. She loves going outside anyway, so this is a great excuse for her to get to stay out past dark! She was a pink poodle, and is just about the cutest little puppy you'll ever see! We didn't do too much actual trick or treating. We mostly went to people's houses we know, but next year I'm sure she'll want to go for longer!

Fun at the Pumpkin Farm!

A day before Halloween I finally had some time to take Chloe to a pumpkin patch. We called up our favorite cousin (we can still say that!) and her mom to see if they wanted to join us. They did, so we packed up the girls and headed to the farm! The girls had a fun time and we found a few pumpkins to take home for carving!

Pre Halloween Party!

Our next door neighbors (Kevin and Claire) have a little boy just a year older than Chloe. Claire and I have talked several times about getting Chloe and Andrew (that is his name) together and so far haven't managed to do it! Last week Chloe and I were walking around the block (something we do when she gets restless and needs to run around) and we saw Claire and Andrew. She invited us to a little Halloween party she was having for Andrew and a few of his friends. Anyway, to make a long story short, we went and had a great time!!! Chloe's "real" costume hadn't arrived in time for the party so we scrounged around the house and remembered we had got her a little hula outfit when we were in Hawaii! Here are some pictures from our fun afternoon!

New Stats for Chloe

This is long overdue, but since we just had Chloe's 15 month check-up it seemed like an appropriate time to go over some of the new stuff about Chloe!
1. She weighs 27.7 lbs (which explains why my back aches when I lift her out of things!)
2. Chloe is 31.5 inches tall
3. She loves shoes and this is one of her new words. In fact she made me put some shoes on over her footie pajamas this morning!
3. She LOVES going outside!
4. Some words she says are: dog, woof, kitty, uh-oh, pretty, plane, night-night, and water. (I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but these are the consistent words she says).
Basically she is at a really fun stage right now! She is so inquisitive and wants to see and touch everything. I will post pictures soon!
